I love this movie! I love this book! As I've said before I am a total Edward fan. I think Rob is perfection as Edward. I am so not a Bella fan in the books and I am so not a Bella fan in the movie. I was secretly wishing that Victoria would kill her right there. But then, poor Edward would be miserable and that just would not be okay. Thanks for giving me a venue to talk about these people like they are real! Everyone in my life thinks I am looney! ♥ ♥Jen Oh my, oh my, oh my! I love this movie! I love this book! I won't divulge too much- but overall, I really liked it. (More than liked, less than loved). But in talking to my M-in-L about it, I found myself totally defending it because she HATED it. Totally her fault- because she went into it expecting the book. The biggest reason I like it was because I had very low expectations, and they totally surpassed those expectations. Knowing that they can't possibly make it as good as the book, I'm now looking forward to New Moon! Love all of your slightly differing opinions. I really didn't expect to like it so much. I came away completely it withve with Edward - something I didn't experience from the book. I didn't like that every single scene was shot with only natural light. I mean - Charlie and Bella would have a light on when they're eating breakfast, right? I also didn't like Edward glittering, or Jacob's wig. Maybe he'll at least sport a ponytail till he cuts it short. I hope that once they have more money for effects they can make Edward look like he sparkles, not sweats profusely. And I didn't like them ending with Victoria. That said, I am completely infatuated with all other aspects!! I loved Charlie's character, the ease of Bella and Jacob's relationship, all of the Cullens, THE SOUNDTRACK, the killing-James scene......I loved it all. That scene in the ballet studio was probably my favorite. Then the end with them dancing and the almost-bite -- perfect. I can’t believe how much I LOVED the movie.
