Survivor Tocantins: Let’s get rid of the weak players before we even start.
I am thrilled that Survivor has started again. Right off the bat I noticed that they weren’t allowed to pick their teams so that means, hopefully, the teams will be more evenly matched. Hopefully. It also hopefully means the drama will be spread out. I like to see both teams squirming.
I also noticed that the teams were color coordinated. Do you think they told them before they left home what color they should wear? I’m not sure I’ve seen that happen before in past seasons. It just struck me as odd. How many people just run around wearing orange and just happen to end up on the same team?
So the guy that really stuck out to me as a troublemaker is Benjamin, with the long hair. The let’s get rid of the weak players fast guy. He is going to get his butt kicked out of Brazil so fast, I cannot wait. Who knows though. Maybe the other jerks on his team will rally around him. I can’t wait to see what happens with this guy.
For those of you just joining our blog, the four of us are all Mormon. So it’s hilarious to us when a Mormon shows up on one of our shows. We will be keeping an eye on Tyson and his free spirited views on life. I was wondering who was going to be the nudey on this show and it definitely surprised me that it was the Mormon. Wouldn’t have guessed that one.
Then we have our first Tribal where someone gets voted off. I was really, really surprised to see Carolina go home. I thought for sure, and I mean for sure, Sandy was going home. Sandy contributed nothing to the tribe. She didn’t set up camp for them and then she took off to look for the idol while everyone was working. Which was hilarious by the way. ”What’s a pace?” I guess Carolina must have really gotten on everyones nerves.
So, was it everything you hoped it would be?

Okay, already a great season starter! I definitely like it when teams are divided ahead of time. You’d think that when they pick their own teams, they would try to make it even, but clearly that didn’t happen last season.
Yes, I totally laughed that it was “the Mormon” who stripped naked! I have no problem with that… as long as he doesn’t give others a “bad name.”
I can’t any predictions this soon. Survivor is one of those that takes quite a few episodes to see people’s change in attitude and strategy. But, I’m excited. I think I’m going to like this group!

Oh man, “Pyscho Sandy” and those crazy eyes of hers, not to mention her ridiculous choices were enough to drive ME insane! Can’t believe she didn’t get voted off… but that Carolina girl was pretty annoying, let’s be honest, and I’m kinda glad I don’t have to look at her uncomfortably large chest anymore.
Loved how they were immediately put into teams and so glad to see the girl who had strep redeem herself with her tribe and then at the challenge. Not sure how far she’ll really make it, but it was nice to see her making smart decisions.
That soccer coach guy will be the next to go on the other tribe; he was way too pushy and preachy for that early in the game (unless of course he’s super strong in the next challenge and somebody else wimps out). Should make for some quality drama!

an Mormons are popping up on reality TV everywhere! Too bad they always stand out in the crowd in a not-so-good way!
PS I am Mormon too.

I can’t see why the mormon dude had to get naked to prove he is cool! Oh well, I like this season and I like it that they are more evenly devided.
It takes me a long time to make up my mind who I like or not, so I usually don’t care who gets voted off the first few episodes; unless they annoy the heck out of me.
I have nothing against old people but Sandy (is that the old lady’s name?) is annoying. I think I would be OK if she gets votted off. My favorite old(er) person was Bob from the last season. He was smart, hard working and so fun to watch and learn from.
