Sometimes I wonder what all the fairytales would be if Disney and other people hadn't sugar-coated them. By Disney I mean his company, since he technically did include the hunter in Snow White sending an animal heart to the queen to prove Snow White was dead. For example, in the original Cinderella folk tale, one step-sister cuts off her big toe so her foot will fit in the slipper...the other step-sister cuts off her heel. Gross! So many fairytales have people getting their eyes eaten out by birds in the original, or getting eaten by wolves in the forest. Life 500 years ago must have been quite gruesome! Yeah, I want to see this but I think it looks scary too.
