Chuck: Chuck versus the Predator
Well, we all know that Chuck isn’t getting the intersect out of his head because once that happens the show is over but it’s still sad to see him chase his dream and have it literally blow up in front of him. Great news though that at least he has the schematics to the Folcrum intersect to study. I’m still not clear how finding another intersect is going to clear his mind, but I’m here for the journey.
Lester and Jeff as spies were so ridiculous. ”You’re a Buy Moron.” When they walked back into the Buy More with their eyes all red and watery I totally cracked up. And the slowed down scenes of the five of them walking out of the Burbank store to hit the Beverly Hills store was perfect. Not to mention getting to see Jeff’s office. He’s gross enough to have an actual office in the bathroom.
I was totally grossed out at the picture of poor Morgan grabbing his blankets while his mom and Bike Mike do it in the next room. Sick. And then when Big Mike just pounds on the wall to “wake” Morgan up just made it too real. They share a wall. Morgan really needs to move out. Whatever happened to him moving in with his girlfriend? I thought he signed his Morganuptual and everything.
Can’t wait for the new girl to come next week. I’m sure she’ll be a total skank compared to Agent Walker buy maybe she’ll shake things up a bit. You think Agent Casey’s gonna be into her?
Chuck is on Mondays at 8pm PT on NBC.

Yeah, the whole Jets vs. Sharks thing with the Beverly Hills Buy More guys was pretty funny. The other store looked ridiculous the way it was all glammed up; it’s too bad they took that bat away from Big Mike.
I hadn’t even thought about Casey and the new girl… I guess I was expecting some kind of jealous triangle with Chuck and Sarah, but seeing Casey with a crush could be a lot more entertaining!

This episode was a bit disappointing to us. It was just a bit contrived, and it seemed like they were pushing the plot without letting it develop more fully. Like why couldn’t Orion have randomly contacted Chuck over 3 or 4 episodes as an aside to the main plot. And then we’re expected to believe that Orion went under the radar and wasn’t found for years and years despite extensive searches….yet within 24 hours of contacting Chuck he dies in a helicopter explosion? A man like that wouldn’t be so dumb or walk into that trap. Plus if he could tap into computers and see through them, he would have been watching the Castle’s security cameras and would have known Chuck was under duress.
So yeah..I felt that they sacrificed some plot and made this a stretch in order to speed the story along. And for what? Either Chuck gets the intersect out of his head and the show ends, or he doesn’t get it out of his head and the writers have to backtrack to where we were cruising along nicely before this whole storyline began, which will be awkward and hard.
I hope next week’s episode is better!
