Man v Food: Minneapolis

blogthedayawaycomTonight Adam heads to the Land of a Thousand Lakes to chow down on cheeseburgers—but in Minneapolis, they put the cheese inside the burger. They’re called Juicy Lucys, and the regional staple is so popular that two restaurants each claim to have invented it. Adam visits Matt’s Bar and the 5-8 Club to get to the bottom of the Juicy Lucy’s origin.

Next, it’s over to Brasa Premium Rotisserie for the freshest meats in town … plus, Adam chows down on a roasted suckling pig with a special surprise guest (check out the picture for a hint). And finally, Adam goes for some authentic German-style fare at Gasthof zur Gemütlichkeit , where he’ll take on the Meterbratwurst Challenge: he has to eat a 40-inch long bratwurst and two sides to earn eternal glory and a boot of beer.

Will Adam polish off a metric yard of meat, or will he go home red-faced?
