The Biggest Loser: Temptation Challenge

lsr_714_01Well finally things get going and then they blow up in my face.  I am so mad that Sione and Felipe tried to vote off Ron last week without making sure they had the numbers.  Or do you think Kristin led them to believe she would vote for Ron and then didn’t?  I’m wondering why on earth I didn’t talk about this last week.  Was I sleeping or something?  Of course Felipe and Sione are going to incur the wrath of Ron.  It’s not even just Ron, anyone would have been pissed off to get votes.  But they got on the bad side of the godfather.

Wasn’t that montage absolutely perfect with Ron lording over everyone in a position of power?  It spoke so much for what is going on in that house.  I hate Ron.  He’s a kill you with kindness type of guy.  He’s said it over and over, he doesn’t care about anyone but his son.  He would throw every singe one of those people under the bus in a heart beat.  Wouldn’t think twice about it.  But someone caught on to his game and tried to take a stand and unfortunately their heads are going to roll.

That Temptation Challenge was out of control.  I give Kristin major props for bowing of it.  I was so desperate for Felipe or Sione to find the golden ticket.  I was totally holding my breath, but no, stupid Laura had to find it.  I have major disdain for Ron, matched by a loathing of Tara (again, I can’t really explain why) followed by downright dislike of Laura.  So for her to find the ticket was just awful for me.  Because it meant one of my people were going home.

The stupid editors pretty much tell you who is being voted off but I kept hoping that Tara would throw the weigh in and Laura would be below the yellow line too.  I know, I know, that’s way too much to ask for, but I really did hope.  My second scenario was for Ron and Tara to be below the yellow line but the jerk totally pulled a big number this week.  How does he do that?  He can barely move.  I just don’t get it.

I am so sad to see Sione go home but if anyone can lose weight at home it’s him.  How exciting for him to start a new career as a trainer.  I felt so proud of his sister when she broke down in tears but said “I can do this.”  What a touching moment.  I totally know he’ll do great but I’m really pissed that he fell below the yellow line.  It’s like Ron willed it to be done and it was done.  At least it wasn’t Felipe but he’ll be coming up soon I’m sure.

Elaine pointed out the editing of this show to me last week and I’m so mad at her for doing it because I can no longer watch this show without knowing who is going home.  The pretty much shove it in your face, don’t they?  I mean there’s no surprise left in it.  I can’t believe it took me this long to notice but I’m usually fast forwarding through a lot of it so that would probably explain things.  Did you guys notice that they set you up for who’s going home?

And why is Ron still around?  They joke about him being in charge so why don’t they get rid of him?

First- I’m so sorry, Alisa, if I’ve ruined it for you! I guess I still watch and think it might not be the outcome I’m expecting.

Why the heck (I’m really thinking hell) did they not get rid of Ron when they had the chance? You know Kristen is not on Ron’s side- so why didn’t she vote him off? I don’t get it. Yeah, I’m pissed Sione’s gone. At first I was so worried that Tara and Laura would be below the yellow line. But, now that I think about it, I would have liked that scenario better than Helen and Sione. (I knew it wouldn’t happen, but I kept a tiny bit of hope that Laura might actually send home Helen.)

I can NOT believe what Ron said to the group when they came back from that elimination. That they’re going to die! (I loved Helen’s response). Hello?! And, it’s so clear Ron is not there for himself. I’ve never seen anyone so upset for losing an awesome number. That to me is another reason he should go. If he’s sad he’s losing more weight than Mike, he needs to go!

Again- I don’t know if you noticed, but the golden ticket was only good IF Laura stayed above the yellow line. They did not make that clear until the weigh-in. (Maybe the contestants know…)

I was so happy about Sione and his family. Maybe I’m reading too into it, but I think Sione was an American favorite, and they seemed to spend more time on his update. I don’t know if he has the potential to win the at-home contest, but I’m rooting for him!!

You know what? Ron is a huge stinker.

Thats all I’m going to say.
