Scrubs: My Soul on Fire Part 1

07When I woke up this morning Scott told me this was the worst Scrubs episode EVER.  I totally didn’t believe him until I saw the premise for the show.  A vacation!!!  Vacation episodes ALWAYS suck.  You gotta keep it familiar for it to work.  Or at least that is my experience.  Feel free to chime in if you’ve found a show that makes it work.  For me they are throw away episodes and I don’t enjoy them.

I’ll tell you what I did enjoy.  This is so horrible of me but I enjoyed Elliot starving herself and then totally bingeing and Jordan getting lypo.  That was funny to me.  And then poor Carla in her mom suit and shorts traipsing down the beach kind of cut at my heart.  I personally try to still keep things sexy but oh boy do I know what it’s like to feel like completely covering up.  I was totally shopping online for bathing suits this morning which actually made me get off my butt and put my running clothes and iPod on and head out the door.  Only thing was, it was raining, and I don’t run in the rain.  Better go look at some cover ups now.

So how do you think this is going to play out?  I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say that JD and Elliot are actually going to end up getting married at the Janitor’s ceremony.  Think about it.  Why else would they go to the Bahamas?  And Elliot convinced Lady to have a ceremony.  Someone’s got to use it.  And they’ve got to do something big to close out the series.  Why not get hitched?

Worst Scrubs ever but maybe we’ll get a wedding out of it.  What do you think?

Scrubs is on Wednesdays at 8pm on ABC.
