The Biggest Loser
Hey Everyone- I’m doing the review today and I know I’m just not as thorough as Alisa, so bear with me!
Can I start off by saying I have never giggled so much watching Biggest Loser as I did last night. I didn’t even fast forward through any of it, that’s how entertained I was.
Ok first things first, I was completely shocked that Jillian came in and talked to Tara- Jillian just never seems that compassionate to me (although I personally like her better then Bob- I’m just throwing that out there, sorry Alisa). I was so glad she did though, because I seriously felt like slapping Tara. Jillian was right on, Tara was just being selfish and I was really glad that the teams decided to send Laura home last week. Especially in the end when we found out how well she was doing. Tara has been slowly dropping in my opinion every week.
The trivia challenge cracked me up to no end- eight servings in that tiny pizza? Ron thinking that Trans fat free butter was healthier then olive oil? Kristens comments throughout, and then her ending poke at Mike about his age. It was just all so funny. Then my favorite part, only because I had been scoping them out at Costco yesterday morning- Bob talking about how people think fish sandwiches are so much healthier and he’s like, “People! you might as well have a potpie!” Dude, the Marie Callenders Potpies are the BOMB, and they have them in six packs at Costco now.
Ok, then on to the cage challenge. I swear I love Filipe- his trash talking was so funny. Poor Helen though, first she has to deal with Filipe shaking the cages all over the place, and then she desperately tries to beat Tara in a battle of wills. I felt so sad for her, especially when she was pleading with Tara to let her win. I’m glad Tara said no, I have a feeling Helen would have stabbed her in the back and taken the pound.
I was so glad Mike finally confronted his Dad about his weight issues. Mike and Ron really bug me- but I was happy to see some closure there. I was so angry at elimination with how smug they both were. Please, Please, next week let one of them land in the bottom two, preferably Mike.
Where you surprised Mike voted for Kristen? I wasn’t at all- especially at his interview last week when he told us he didn’t really want to save her, instead of Laura. I knew first chance he got she would be gone. Who’s your ideal final four? I would have loved to see Kristen, Filipe, Tara, and Helen- but now that that’s not possible, I’m hoping Ron stabs himself in the foot and ends up there- minus his son.
The Biggest Loser is on NBC Tuesdays at 8pm

How slimy is Ron!!!! I am so pissed at him. Lying straight to Kristin. “I’ll take care of you. I’ll make sure you get as far as possible.” LIAR!!! He went straight to his son and told him to write down Kristin’s name. Argh. That man needs to go home and his son with him just to spite him. I am hoping and praying that Mike falls below the yellow line next week. Maybe that’s too mean though. It’s not Mike’s fault his dad is the godfather of this game.
I still say Felipe all the way!! I don’t want anyone else to win. I don’t like any of them. But I’d hate for MIke to win and Ron feel his means were justified. That would make me sick.
Come on Felipe!! He seems to be working hard but it doesn’t seem like he’s eating enough. I hope he gets that worked out so he can kick some major trash.

I want Mike to go home….especially bc the other contestants will have it in for him—they know his dad Ronfather will sell his soul to get his son to the finish. I want Ron in the final 4 just because I know he doesn’t have a chance at winning, and he needs to eat crow.
Also, I hope Cathy and Kristin don’t stay friends with him and Mike. Obviously Ron is a fairweather friend, and that is the worst kind in my opinion.
Felipe is hilarious. Helen is annoying. Supposedly if you look at the TOTAL percentage weightloss on the nbc page, Helen has lost more weight than Kristin, and so everyone is saying she is technically a bigger threat than Kristin. Hmmmm…..
Tara is getting annoying. I am a Tara fan, but hello! She needs some psyche counseling (as all the contestants do, how hard is it to go from being really big to “normal” and wondering if people are only friendly or treat you different because you’re no longer HUGE)
I like Kristin, but it served her right for keeping Ron around. He was a manipulator from the beginning. Total godfather. She should have helped the blue team and the black team get rid of Ron when she had the chance, and now she’s gone as a result. I’m glad that she has used this as a way to help other women struggling though, good for her. I have a lot of respect for her even though she refused the ‘play the game’ and is now gone as a result.

The only thing I want to add to all these very good points is about Ron and his major manipulation! (Yes, we already know that). However, did anyone else pick up on how manipulative he was to Mike about it being his fault?! He NEVER said “I’m sorry!” All he did was say- yes, you’re justified in being angry. BUT… this was my reasoning! He is SO manipulative he doesn’t even know it! And neither does Mike! (And I wanted to punch him in the face when he said “My son is going to win…”) I would have liked Mike more if his dad weren’t there. But instead, I want him (and his dad) GONE!
They had their chance to get rid of Ron…. just gotta PRAY that one of them falls below the line!
