American Idol: Top 3 Results
I loved the hometown visits. It’s so fun to watch these guys go from being the “guy next door,” to a major celebrity… practically overnight. And at this point, at least, they’re so humble and grateful.
So, did anyone else watch the entire show? (I rarely do…) But this was probably the most intense I’ve ever seen American Idol get. It was so great watching the judges get on their feet and be completely shocked when it was Kris who was saved first. I think for a second, the audience didn’t know if Adam was going to be saved. And what’s better than that- seeing Adam look unsure for the first time as well.
So, as much as it was Danny’s time to go, I did not expect to be so emotional about it. I actually cried… real tears! (Maybe I shouldn’t admit that?) His “You Are So Beautiful” was heart-wrenching. I think he definitely has the opportunity to have a great career. (I will definitely be buying at least one of his songs…)
I would have bet money on Adam being the next American Idol, but Ryan said it- Kris is the only one who has NEVER been at the bottom. So, I think he really has a chance! At this point, I don’t really care who wins. But I’m excited to see who it is! Who are you rooting for?

I was absolutely thrilled to hear that Kris would be in the top two. I didn’t understand why the judges looked so shocked. It had to be either Kris or Danny with Adam, so were they really so surprised that it was Kris instead of Danny? Or maybe they were just a little worried that Adam wouldn’t make it to the top two. I found it very interesting that Ryan said at the beginning of the show that there had been 88 million votes cast and less than a million votes separated the top two! I think Kris may actually have a chance. I’d be okay either way, but I’m so glad it’s him and not Danny even though I really like Danny and he can really sing.

I ♥ Kris, too. I was going to be okay with him leaving, but now that he’s in the finals, I want him to win! I might actually vote.
And the thing with less than 1 million separating the two of them……I know that Idol likes to brag about their numbers. But I got really frustrated with the voting process early on. I was a HARD CORE Daughtry fan. If all the busy signals I got had counted, he may have won. I wish it was more like DWTS. Maybe not #contenders = #votes, but something similar. I would vote if I thought the 10 calls I placed mattered.

You don’t have to ask who I’m hoping wins, right? Adam, Adam, Adam. Although I do really enjoy Kris. He’s warmed for me the last couple of weeks. Not enough that I actually want him to win but that I think he’s super great.
