American Idol: Top 2 Perform

picture-3Well, that was actually a great show. Both guys were awesome. And I can happily say that I see both being really successful. It’s nice that they sing 3 songs each. And there’s no truer test of them as singers than having them sing the exact same song.

Round One: Adam started off with “Mad World.” That was one of his original best performances, so I’m glad he sang that. Kris followed with “Ain’t No Sunshine.” I happened to think Kris kicked butt!

Round Two: Adam sang “Change is Gonna Come.” It started rough for me. (I was actually bored.) But he picked it up in the end. Kris sang “What’s Going On?”. The judges criticized that it was “low-key” for a finale. But, to me, that’s the type of artist I see his as. I thought it was great, but I give that round to Adam.

Round Three: Both sang the original single “No Boundaries.” Honestly, Adam was so out of tune in the first half that I couldn’t enjoy it. And when Kris sang, it sounded like he was trying SO hard to top Adam in power, that he was out of tune in the second half. Truthfully, I think the song fit Kris’ style better. But round three should go to neither!

Although I don’t really care who wins, I have never cared for Adam. Kris has definitely felt like the underdog, so it would be nice to see him win. But, I think it would be quite surprising. We’ll find out tonight… Who are you rooting for?

Ditto. Exactly. Except I like Kris a lot. I even voted last night.

I’m excited for tonight!

I LOVE KRIS! I am so over Adam. He is just on the verge of corny to me. Kris is so real. Can’t wait, but either way I think they will both go far.
