TOTALLY SHOCKED.

I mean, I voted for him the night before, but I honestly didn’t think he’d win. Neither did he, obviously. I don’t think people voted for him just because they didn’t like Adam. I imagine there were others like me who decided they liked Kris better, and wanted to show some support.

I have to say, though, this was my favorite finale ever!! What a great show. David Cook’s song brought me to tears. Loved Kris and Keith Urban, Lil and Queen, even seeing Norman again. I thought it was impressive that they had Queen and Kiss on, too. And did you see Bikini girl? Whoa, Nellie.

I’m so happy for Kris!

Yes, total shocker!!!! I was so surprised and excited and happy that I couldn’t stop screaming and laughing. I totally freaked out. LOVE KRIS! Of course Adam is fabulous and SO talented, but just too over-the-top for me. And I HATED the Kiss performance. So back to my previous question. What is Adam? An alternative star or a hard rock star? I just don’t get it. Can’t take the screaming. Anyway, yes the finale was amazing!!! So packed with big names. I LOVED IT when Kara came out singing over the top of Bikini Girl. That was AWESOME! I loved seeing Bikini Girl’s face. And Kara shouldn’t have been so shy. She looked great! Fun, fun show! WAY TO GO, KRIS! And of course Adam will have a fabulous career.

I agree with the cheering. Adam’s fans were out in numbers. Randy couldn’t even talk over them they went so long and were so loud. What the crap happened? Reality TV just isn’t going my way this week. I thought the Kiss performance was great and wondered if Adam hadn’t done an upbeat song for the finals if he wouldn’t have won. He kept it pretty low key instead of rocking it out. I have no doubt that I will hear Adam AND Kris on the radio. Like Kris but really think Adam should have won.

I AM SO HAPPY! I have been a Kris fan from the beginning. There is something about his humility and his silky smoothe voice that makes me LOVE his work! I DO think Kris has/had a lot of fans. I think most of Danny’s fans moved over and I think many tweens loved Kris too. More and more I hear people either love or hate Adam. Also, we have seen so many “Adam”‘s in entertainment- Kris is unique and relatable.
BUT ONTO THE SHOW! Best show ever! I did not want it to end! I loved it so much I almost forgot about the results. Love Keith and Kris and loved the Black Eyed Peas! But Kara outsinging Bikini Girl was by far the best moment (besides Kris winning). I usually feel like the “Idol” performances are cheesy. But these guys did really well with the BIG stars they were performing with. I think we will see many of these Idols again. All in all, I think America is craving some wholesome entertainment!

I wasn’t shocked at all. Kris had all the teenager girl votes- like my sister and all her friends texting like crazy over and over again for him. I really think Adam didn’t appeal to that crowd, well at least not to a lot of it and that’s why he didn’t win. Truthfully Adam’s singing bugged me. I hated that Adam was obviously favored by all the media and Simon. I mean come on, Simon did you really have to call in a favor to U2 so your favorite Adam could have the coolest song choice? I thought it was annoying.
Really I didn’t like this season at all. Last season was my favorite and I hope next season is better than the last one. I have to say the star studded finale was pretty cool though. I’m sure next years will be even better.
