Ok Holy Schmoley!  Could you believe the premiere Tuesday Night?!?  I’m so glad they decided to show two episodes since the first hour was a little bit of a bore fest for me.  For once more then half of the “signature dishes” were normal and weren’t spit out, and then as soon as Robert walked in the doors of the restaurant I knew they were bringing him back.  No big surprises there, literally.  Not surprised either when Ramsey kicked out that diner dude Louie.  Who serves biscuits and gravy as their signature dish?  Very surprised though that Melinda went home instead of Lovely.  I think the girls were making a power decision instead of a smart one.  Get rid of someone who was more of a threat- which almost never works on this show, so really surprised by the results.  I was happy to see she was in the bottom four in episode two, until psycho Joseph started running his mouth at elimination.  Is it me or did they purposefully pick guys this season with a chip on their shoulder?  and that guy Joe is a whole can of crazy- who flies off the handle like that and starts attacking Ramsey?  I’ve said this before, I love Gordon Ramsey- and I’m sorry but he’s one of the best at what he does, so a little humble pie from the contestants goes a long way.   You’d think they’d never watched the show before actually being on it.

I’ve already got a couple of favorites picked out.  Robert of course, since I really liked him last season and was sad to see him go.  I also really like Whoopie Goldberg ie Tennille, she’s bossy and making enemies already- but I like the ones who have their eye on the prize(and will do anything to get it) best.  My other favorite is Tony, the Culinary Store Owner/home cook- I foresee some problems down the road with him that I think will make for good TV.

A little personal fun fact- my Dad was asked to help supervise the firefighters in the episode next week and refused because he can’t stand Gordon Ramsey.  It’s the language thing.   I was a little upset, who passes up the opportunity to meet Gordon Ramsey?
