I didn't realize I never reviewed this one, but I also really, really enjoyed it. Mainly because I always love a book with a strong female lead- and Katsa totally qualifies for that. I loved the graces, especially the idea of having an entirely useless one and being shunned from society for it. I think because when we think of superpowers we never think of them as being any type of negative, and in reality if the world really did have mutant people they probably would be a threat, and something to fear. I also thought the twists in the storyline were well thought out (and surprising) which doesn't always happen in YA novel. Definitely a good read and the sequel/prequel is on my preorder list.
