The Office 6: Gossip
Well, it’s here! The beginning of a new Season of The Office! Although I consider myself an obsessed Office fan as much as the next guy, I have to say that with quite a few new shows this fall, I have been easily distracted, and I’ve been able to await this new return more patiently than normal.
I wouldn’t consider this one of the best season openers, nor was it one of the funniest episodes, but it was great nonetheless. Although I love Jim and Pam, with a pregnancy this season, and a wedding to plan, I fear I may get bored with their relationship. So, I’m hoping for, and looking forward to, some drama with other characters. Poor Stanley… or really, poor Teri.
I did love some of the gossip that Michael made up. Andy being gay is really not too far fetched. But the best part was that he didn’t know! (And probably still won’t…) I did laugh at Jim’s advice. “Go have sex with a woman… and then a man.” And Toby’s rumor was probably my favorite, about being a virgin! Hope you enjoyed the season premiere! I have no doubt there will be great episodes to come!

I loved when Michael was debunking all the rumors and Andy was like, “But am I gay?” And that scene with Oscar was hilarious.

Classic Michael to try and defuse one bomb by creating a bunch of even bigger ones. Thankfully Jim and Pam were noble enough to take the fall for Stanley. And of course Michael’s take on Pam’s ultrasound pic was funny and inappropriate as ever!

Oh so glad to have “The Office” back- it’s almost like seeing an old friend for the first time in over a year. I agree that it wasn’t at it’s funniest- but still satisfying. Loved the interns, and Andy asking Oscar for advice on being “gay.” I can’t wait to see what Angela has up her sleeve for Jim and Pam’s Bastard child. Let the passive aggressiveness begin!
