The Amazing Race 15: Sean Penn Cambodia Here We Come
Sorry this is so late. I’ve got kids out of school and life has been crazy. This will be a short post because I don’t remember much about the show but something has to be said about the saddest episode ever. I cannot believe Zev and Justin came in first place and then were eliminated. Who knows where Zev’s passport could be. It could be anywhere they traveled that day.
My heart is broken. I wanted Zev to show the world that you can totally function with Asperger’s. Zev is awesome and he was doing so well. And the way Justin supported and encouraged him just made my heart burst every time they were on screen. I love these guys and I hate that they wont be a part of the race anymore. I’m going to remember Zev telling his driver, “I’m going to tell your mom.” Hilarious.
That being said, I also love the poker players and I am so glad they can continue on in the game though I’m not sure how long they are going to stick around. They seem to be consistently in back of the pack. I love them though. I love their relationship and how they encourage each other.
I also love the Harlem Globetrotters. I guess those are my remaining two favorite teams.
I still feel like crying when I think about Sunday’s episode. I’m not sure I’ve ever gotten as attached to a team like I did with Zev and Justin. Where you just as sad as I was or was it just another team going home for you?
The Amazing Race 15 is on Sundays at 8pm on CBS.

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one that almost busted out the tears when they went home. I read online that Zevs passport was returned to the US embassy. It fell out of their bag when they were lost at a temple trying to find the monkey challenge. It makes me wonder if they had waited to alert someone until later (say five hours into their rest break) if they could have avoided elimination. I’m rooting for the Harlem Globetrotters now- the poker players still bug me, but they have some amazing luck!
