30 Rock: Stone Mountain

Kenneth is one of the reasons I love this show, and his stJack-mcBrayerories about the town he comes from are definitely part of his hillbilly charm.  That’s why I was excited to hear that Jack and Liz were heading to Stone Mountain to find their “Middle America” cast member.  Fatty Fatty Sandwich Farm looked awesome, and Liz’s speech about sandwiches being the universally-loved food was even more awesome.  I love Lemon and her views on life.

Jack is so mean for not telling Liz what chuckle is (disgusting if that is for real), and their checking in at the hotel was downright painful to watch.  “Did you bring a beagle?”  Only Liz Lemon could fart like that and not make me like her any less.  And as sneaky as Jack was about choosing some hick comedian he knew Liz would hate, at least he defended her honor in the end.  I love that he attacked the doll rather than the ventriliquist.

Meanwhile Jenna and Tracy were as ridiculous as ever.  I know I’ve heard that “bad things come in three” way too many times, so I liked that they made fun of it with the celebrities dying.  Betty White’s hanging up and Jimmy Fallon’s coming at Tracy with an axe were classic.  This show always gets the best guest cameos.

Apparently the quest for a new cast member continues.  Where will they go next?

30 Rock is on NBC, Thursdays at 9:30 Pacific time.

Last night’s show was fabulous. I too loved that Jack attacked the doll and pulled his head off. And Liz rubbing a scented candle in her pits was too much.

Oh yeah, the candle deodorant! How could I forget? Liz Lemon has no shame. Seriously, how many times has she found lettuce in her hair? I laugh every time.
