Smallville: Kandor

SMALLVILLEWell, after just saying I didn’t pay any attention to the Kandorians there’s a whole episode devoted to them.  I guess the writers want me to pay more attention.  Note taken, but it doesn’t mean I have to like it.

How bad does it suck for Clark to lose Jor-El right when he finds him.  There must have been so many questions he had for him.  Not to mention the longing to have a father again.  Super sucks.

And what about Jor-El asking Clark to save Zod.  I know Clark is mad but Clark is Clark, he’s totally going to give Zod a break in the end.  Or at least that’s what my take on Clark is.

I think it’s hilarious that Lois left town.  Of course she only left town because it was convenient for the story but it’s cute that she runs at the first sign of commitment.

It looks like the Kandorians are going to play a bigger part in the show whether we like it or not.  How was Friday’s episode for you?  Did you change your mind about the Kandorians now that you have more detail?

Smallville is on Fridays at 8pm on The CW.

You know, I’m kind of glad they told us more about the Kandorians. I wasn’t really caring about that storyline either, but now it’s kind of interesting. I love seeing some insight into Zod before he was the seriously evil guy that he became, with his home and family all blown away right before his eyes. It also helps explain why Jor-El and Zod ended up going their separate ways, which I always wondered about.
I actually really hope that Clark takes Zod out! Really, he can’t do much on Earth except harm, so why should he save him like Jor-El asked? But you’re right, Clark is kind of a softy.
