The Amazing Race 15: This is the worst thing I’ve ever done in my life

Screen shot 2009-11-09 at 9.51.19 AMI would comment on the first half of the episode, except what’s the point. After watching that gruesome final task, I can’t remember anything else that matters. I know the girls had a hard time last week with golfing and swinging a hammer. But I think rolling out hundreds of hay bales beats that any day. And clearly, since a few years ago, it took a team 10+ hours to do the same challenge, the producers must have been going for drama.

It’s actually challenges like that that make me love/hate the show. I have so much respect for those who can pull through. I so badly want to do the race, but I don’t know if I’d survive a day like that. (Especially being a girl, and going up against a bunch of strong guys.) And the problem with “needle in a haystack” roadblocks is that SO much is about luck. It might take you 30 minutes if you guess right, or 10 hours if you don’t. And that sucks as a strong competitor. Sam and Dan were the first ones at the challenge, and almost the last to leave.

I am SO happy it was a non-elimination round. Mostly because I still want Matt and Gary in the race. I am sick of Ericka and her whining. She is way to prissy, girly, and high-maintenance for me. However, it finally makes perfect sense why they so frequently comment about their inter-racial marriage… Ericka’s mom wishes they hadn’t got married. I guess I’d be out to prove something too if my parents didn’t like who I chose to marry. Then there’s Sam and Dan. Did anyone else want to punch Dan in the face as he’s yelling at Sam the entire time?! I would have been so mad. However, I think he kind of made up for it by being so emotional at the pit stop and realizing that he was such a jerk. Finally, I just can’t get enough of the Globetrotters. They make watching the show absolutely hilarious and entertaining. Poor Big Easy- too tall to do a challenge. Although he had some serious luck with the hay bales! I’m actually really glad they won the leg. I’d want to win a leg if it were my birthday too!

Well, I don’t know if Gary and Matt can make up time next week, but I’m excited to find out. Watch The Amazing Race Sunday at 8pm PST, on CBS.

I was so happy the Globetrotters won though it looks like they’re going to get into some trouble next week. They are by far my favorite team.
I’m sick of Ericka too but so happy she finally explained what their deal was. They still do get on my nerves but at least I understand now.
I’m glad it’s a non-elimination too. I’d like to see Gary and Matt take Ericka and Brian’s place next leg.
