The Biggest Loser 8: Week 10

Picture 6Well, I was totally underwhelmed with all of the makeovers.  There wasn’t a single of one them that took my breath away.  I’m not saying that they didn’t look nice but I was expecting more.  Maybe I’m thinking too much America’s Next Top Model makeover and not enough Biggest Loser makeover.

I’m not going to mention anything about their speeches because I fast forwarded through them.  I guess I felt I already knew their stories and it sounded boring so I skipped it.

I was interested to find out that Allen has been holding back on all of the challenges so he doesn’t get a target on his back.  Smart move  but I want to see somebody kick Rudy’s trash around a little bit.  Rudy is really getting on my nerves.  I guess because Shay went home last week and he was so ridiculous to Rebecca this week.  I’m done with him and his arrogance.  He needs to go home.

What a moving ending to watch Rebecca run the half marathon and cry at the end when she knows she’s going to accomplish her goals.  She looks great and I can’t wait to see her at the finale.

Does anyone else want Allen to step up and kick Rudy’s trash?

The Biggest Loser is on Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.  (Not sure why last night was on at 8:30pm but the website says 8pm for next week.)

I, too, fast0forwarded through the majority of the episode. I stopped and looked at their “transformations.” Didn’t listen to speeches or watch the last chance workout.

But, I’m just sad for Rebecca. What was the crap that Rudy was saying? Between that and his attitude last week toward Shay makes me really annoyed. I really hope he falls below at some point. I really don’t know if anyone can keep up percentage-wise with either of those big boys. They have the most potential.

I totally missed whatever Allen said about holding back. Dude. Time to step it up. Although, I really don’t know that he has enough weight to lose to compete for the finals. I actually think he’s been in the best shape of all of them since day one. I really can’t see him getting below 200. We’ll see.

SO proud of Rebecca and her half-marathon, and how great she looks already. Body shape/type, height, and other things totally play a part, but I would love for her to be a contender for the at-home prize.
