The Office: Shareholders Meeting
I just loved everyone’s reactions to Michael being picked up by a limo. And even more so than that, Michael first stating that town cars are better, but completely saying the opposite when he realized it really was a limo for him. I sometimes forget that The Office is set in a small town. They were all like 5-year-olds, running out to catch the ice cream truck. It was pretty amusing. And I loved Erin’s line: “It’s like what high school kids take to prom on t.v. shows.” (I went to prom in a limo…)
Oh, and poor Michael. Totally had no clue that people were there because they were mad… However, I was thoroughly entertained by Dwight’s line-choosing. It’s like traffic. Whichever lane you’re not in is always moving faster. And as soon as you move to that lane, the one you left will start moving quickly. Maybe it was especially funny because it was happening to Dwight.
I’m really curious as to how Dunder Mifflin will stay afloat. Maybe I’m an optimist, but the show wouldn’t go on if they went out of business and everyone lost their jobs. (I suppose it could be a season-ender.) But at this point, I have little concern.
Overall, not the funniest episode ever- but I LOVE this deleted scene and wish they had kept it in the episode! Enjoy!
The Office airs Thursdays at 9pm PST, on NBC.
