The goose girl was fun since its based on the old tale from Andrew Lang's collection or the Grimm's Brothers. In those stories though, the drops of blood were magic and actually spoke out against the false princess. Interesting. My husband and I just devoured the Hunger Games and Catching Fire. We are total fans of Peeta====that boy totally knows how to play the crowd in the Capitol! And what a cliffhanger! We're dying for Sept to come so we can read the third installment. As in, closed the book, sat at the computer, and saw I had an update from Blog the Day Away. Let's just say that as a pregnant mother of two who has always feared her husband dying and also has a crush on Matt Damon..........I loved it. Completely. Except for the part where I was completely shocked and sobbing in the middle. But even then, I loved it. I also read Hunger Games a few weeks ago and am waiting for the 2nd. It was good.
