Expedition Impossible: Light My Way

I am so grateful for firefighters and cops.  So grateful.  They put their lives on the line in situations where I would be peeing my pants with fright.  I think they’re awesome.  I also think they’re funny.  Every time they showed a clip of one of the firefighters or cops telling us why being a firefighter/cop has made them the perfect candidate for this competition it cracked me up.  They’re getting there butts handed to them by a group of hippies and a bunch of good ol’ boys.  Both the firefighters and the cops are in the waaaay back of the pack.  They keep bragging about their training but looks like being a firefighter/cop doesn’t make you a naturalist naturally.  hee hee

And the Mom’s Army.  I didn’t know there was crying allowed in the Army.  Did Ruthie cry during basic training?  Did Ruthie cry while in battle?  I don’t know but Ruthie cried when she thought she was lost.  I’m not trying to be insensitive here.  I cry all the time.  But when your whole persona is ARMY,  ”I’ve been in the Army,”  ”I’m hard core,”  crying when you’re lost in the middle of a game is going to crack me up every time.  Every time people.

There are so many teams that I just am not interested in other than for comic value at this point.  I am all about Team Mustache all the way.  If this is anything like the Amazing Race or City Search they are going to plummet to the back of the pack any week now.  It’s going to be catastrophic.

Not as good as the Amazing Race because they don’t show all the drama.  Nobody’s calling each other out or threatening to leave the race…yet.  Maybe the really good stuff is yet to come?

Expedition Impossible is on Thursday at 8pm MT on ABC.
