So it’s official.  I’ve caught the Twilight bug again.  I didn’t think it was going to happen but when I went to Stephenie Meyer’s site and saw the counter with only 10 days left my heart skipped a beat.  This is bad news because now I run the huge risk of being devastated by the movie.  Oh well, it couldn’t be worse than Harry Potter, right?  Right?  I need some reassurance here.

Laura, Julianne and I are planning to see the matinee Saturday, Nov 22nd if you’re in the area and would like to join us.  Just drop us a line and we’ll let you know which theater and showing we’re hitting.  We’re trying to avoid the screaming girls.  We got enough of that at the Breaking Dawn Concert.  Enough for a lifetime.  Believe me, it was loud.

I found this while I was surfing yesterday.  You all know that I love the Twilight Series but I’m very skeptical about the movie.  I think the special effects look great but the acting seems stiff.  Anyway.  This little clip cracked me up.  Give it a look and let me know what you think.

Unlike some other book made into a movie that comes out in Nov. I’m really excited about The Half-Blood Prince.  Now it’s true that every time I hear Daniel Radcliff’s voice I want to wretch but I love every single other person in the cast so I’m able to overlook the main character and enjoy the show.  This is such a pivotal book that I just can’t wait to see how they make it into a film.

A little Harry Potter movie history from me.  I love the first two movies because I love Harry Potter but I feel they are more like made-for-TV movies than big screen events.  The third is by far my favorite.  I love the director’s spooky take on the book.  Just Spectacular.  The fourth and fifth I absolutely enjoyed.  They were very well made movies.  My only problem is that I didn’t like the Robert Pattinson as Cedric Diggory.  He just didn’t work for me.  (Which is one of the reasons I’m not looking forward to Twilight.  Sorry to be hater.) 

So to sum it all up I’m a Harry Potter freak.  I love all things Potter so I’m really sad that The Half-Blood Prince got moved back until next year.  I need my Hogwarts fix.

Bet ya’ didn’t know we could move like that? This is from a really fun web site I had stored in my bookmarks and stumbled across again. Now either my computer was super slow last time, or the web site wasn’t all that great when it was first up and running. I don’t remember it being this quick, or fun, to put these videos together. The only issue I have with the site is there’s only a few really cool ecards- you have to be a member and pay for most of the other ones. As you can see above though, they still have some really fun free ones. I had a great time putting my sister and her fiance in High School Musical three, and making my husband lobby for Obama. Thank goodness these fabulous teasers keep coming out. It’s totally preparing me for the movie and how different it is going to be. I need preparing too because the books are so real to me.  They already play like a movie in my head. It looks like so much fun though.

This is the funniest game show I have ever seen. Trying to fit your body into ridiculous shapes or take a drink. What a great idea.

So this is long but worth every second. Ok. I’m about to say one of the stupidest things ever, but I never think of Korean people playing the drums, or the electric guitar for that matter. This was culturally enlightening. Keep your eyes on the drummer he’s what it’s all about. My favorite part was when he was head banging and half of his hair stuck to his forehead and half went flying in the air. He definitely stole the show.

OK. I totally buy Robert Pattinson as Edward. Totally. I’m so excited. I’m still having trouble with Kristen Stewart as Bella but I’m sure I’ll come around. So needless to say I will be watching this over and over and over again.

My friend Amy N. just sent me this link about Bella’s Lullaby being in the movie. Apparently Robert Pattinson (Edward) is a musician and he’s one of the many people composing a song for the movie. Wild.

Scott found this one for me (best husband ever). On the set of Twilight. I’m not sure about the Edward hunting and running on the treetops but I guess it will make things interesting. What’s your take on that?

I was on Stephenie Meyer’s site today thanks to my RSS feed and saw that some new clips were posted on MTV.com. The fun part is a little clip of Jacob. If you look down at the bottom of the player you’ll see his face. They don’t show him acting at all just little clips of him in costume. It was really good to see him because most of the photos I’ve seen of him have been when he’s younger (imdb).
