**SPOILER ALERT**  We talk in depth about all of our shows so be warned.

Chuck: Chuck Versus First Class

Picture 1I really enjoyed this episode.  I was skeptical of it because it has the girl who played Lana Lang from Smallville and I really grew to hate her on that show so I was afraid that would carry into her character here.  It didn’t.  She was charming and sweet and just what Chuck needs.  It will be fun to see her play into the Buy More crowd.

Poor Morgan getting glued to a chair.  It would suck to work with that group of hooligans.  They have no moral code so anything goes.  I did love that Casey got behind weeding out the insurgents for Morgan.

I also loved that Chuck went on his first solo mission and even though he did get help he did it his way.  Nice twist with the stewardess.  Though the airline really should think about bolting their shelves to the wall.  It only seems logical.

Man, this show just makes me feel good.  What do you think about Chuck’s new love interest?

Chuck is on Mondays at 8:00pm on NBC.

Chuck: Chuck Versus Operation Awesome

Picture 1I loved that Awesome got pulled into the spy world.  It was nice to see someone bumbling around worst than Chuck.

One of my favorite scenes is when Awesome is trying to lie to Ellie.  There was this bear and he decapitated it with his bare hands.  All the while Chuck is mouthing, “Keep it simple.”

I’m curious about this new guy.  Superman from the recent movies.  I wonder how long he’s going to stay or if this was a one shot deal like the chick spy.

I’m happy to see Morgan getting ahead in his life.  Assistant Manager.  And he handles it well.  The fight club was a little predictable but I did enjoy the electrified cage.

This is just a feel good show with bits of violence thrown in.  What could be better?

Chuck is on Mondays at 9pm on NBC.

Chuck: Chuck Versus the Pink Slip and Chuck Versus the Three Words

Picture 1I am so glad Chuck is back on.  I’ve really missed this show.  I am super sad for Chuck though that he flunked out of spy school but super happy for me because it would have sucked if Chuck had been a super spy.  It wouldn’t have been as fun as Chuck bumbling around causing problems.

But to walk away from Sarah?!  What was he thinking?  When they showed that scene on the train platform my jaw dropped.  Sarah is his dream girl.  I have trouble believing he wanted to be a spy that badly but I guess he did.

I’m also sad for Morgan for flunking out of Benihana school in Hawaii.  But again, super happy he’s going to be living with Chuck now.

How sad are you that the manager got killed.  He was despicable but I loved him.  I am really going to miss him.

Well, in the end everything got back to normal.  The three of them are  together again.  Just as it should be.

Were you totally stoked that they aired two episodes?

Chuck is on Mondays at 8pm on NBC.

Chuck: Chuck Versus the Ring

chk_222_10Well we knew it would be an explosive episode but I wasn’t quite prepared for how the season ended.

First was the perfect wedding.  Pink flowers everywhere tons of guests and when Ellie tells Chuck she just wanted to get married on the beach you know where the show is headed.  Her first wedding gets shot up so she gets the wedding of her dreams on the beach.  Good thing Chuck got so much money from the government so he could afford new suits for the guys and new bridesmaids dresses for the girls on a minutes notice.  I did love that they had the reception in their courtyard.

And how could you forget Jeffster?  They were the perfect horrible addition to the wedding.  Domo arigato Mr. Roboto.  Totally classy and elegant.  Who wouldn’t want that at their wedding?

Then we knew Chuck was going to end up with the intersect again but WTF?!  He knows kung fu now?  Boy do I wish learning a new skill was that easy.  What else can he do?  I assume fire a gun really well.  Now that he’s got a super brain and a super computer on his arm he’s unstoppable.

I don’t know how I feel about this.  Part of the shows charm was that Chuck was totally useless and always getting into trouble.  I think I’m really going to miss that Chuck but I hope really badly that next season is awesome and the new Chuck grows on me.

What do you think?  Is the new Chuck going to be awesome or a bummer?

Chuck is on Mondays at 8pm on NBC.

Chuck: Chuck Versus the Colonel

chk_221_13All our dreams are coming true.  Chuck and Sarah are together.  Casey is sticking around just because.  Morgan and Anna are going to Hawaii together.  Ellie and Awesome are getting married.  Wow.  If I didn’t know any better I’d say it was the series finale here.  But it’s all going to blow up next week.  I know probably nothing else will work out but I seriously hope Ellie and Awesome at least get married.  Then again, maybe it’s better to postpone it so they can actually have a happy day to remember.

How proud are you of Morgan?  He is really growing up.  I can’t believe he actually asked Anna to go with him to Hawaii.  You don’t think he’s actually going do you?  What would the show be without him?  What do you think will happen to make him stay?  Chuck’s best friend can’t leave just when his life is up in the air.

I’m glad that even if the wedding crashes to the ground that Ellie’s dad will be there.  Flaky or not, your dad should be at your wedding.

This was a really fantastic episode.  I loved the action.  Of both varieties.  So what’s going to stop Chuck and Sarah from being together?  It looks like she’s abducted, do you think she’s abducted long term?

I’m just wondering how Chuck is going to end up working for the government again.  Do you think the intersect really is gone?  Will he become an agent to help track down Sarah?  I don’t know, the possibilities are endless.

I want to know what you think is going to happen next week.  It’s gonna be a big one.

Chuck is on Mondays at 8pm on NBC.

Chuck: Chuck Versus the First Kill

chk_220_18Now we’re getting somewhere.  You can tell the season is coming to an end because everything is getting turned on it’s head.  Love it.

So we’ve got the Buy More.  Emmett gives the guys a talking to about making him look good when the Buy More Rep comes to do his evaluation.  The guys of course go into a meeting where they wonder if they should or shouldn’t make Emmett look good.  They finally decide to go with Emmett in the hopes that he will get transferred out of the store.  Holy backfire, Batman.  Turns out the rep was there to evaluate Big Mike who decided to leave because Emmett was doing such a good job.  So Big Mike now works the floor while Emmet gets his job.  The best part is when Big Mike plants the biggest kiss ever on Morgan because he sold the whole store out by buying into Emmett’s scheme.  I can’t wait to see how this shakes down.

Then we all knew Jill was coming back but I wasn’t sure how much she was actually going to help Chuck.  I was pleasantly surprised that she really helped him and then was able to get away in the end.

And don’t even get me started on The Morgan.  Hilarious.

Then comes the best part.  Chuck and Sarah are on the run!!!  It looks like Casey might find them next week but I don’t care.  The previews looked like Chuck and Sarah finally hook up so I can’t wait to see what happens.  And I think the question is finally answered if Sarah’s feelings for Chuck get in the way of her job.  YES!  This is so exciting.

So now I ask again, how is Chuck going to be at Ellie and Awesome’s wedding?  If he’s only on the run for one week I’ll be mad.  Sometimes the show wraps up too nicely.  He’s probably not going to find his dad anytime soon or he’d get his intersect erased and there wouldn’t be a show so hopefully that will take a while.

Are you as excited as I am to hopefully see Chuck and Sarah together?

Chuck is on Mondays at 8pm on NBC

Chuck: Chuck Versus the Dream Job

821_nup_133874_0013I know it would break my heart in two if Chuck actually left the Buy More but to see him land his dream job and then have to make such a fool out of himself that even lowly Apple or Microsoft wouldn’t even take him after that was so sad.  So sad.

But I’m skipping ahead here.  We all knew from the previews last week that Chuck’s dad was more than just a crazy person but I never, ever expected him to be Orion.  Did you?  Scott Bakula did a great job playing a crazy Stephen Bartowzki to the point that I honestly forgot about the previews and thought maybe he used to be an agent but he’s a kook now.  I did believe him though when he said the Chevy Chase character stole all of his ideas.  I believed it because I saw the previews.  Sometimes I feel like they give too much away.  They certainly didn’t give away the bit about Orion though, or maybe I just wasn’t paying attention.

I absolutely loved it when Chuck got all dressed up and turned the tranq gun on Casey.  It was hilarious that he didn’t know they were tranq guns until Casey pointed it out.  Then to watch Casey succumb to the effects of the darts had me cracking up.  Especially when Chuck stuck him in the neck with one.  Then when Chuck took out all the Folcrum agents/security guards and they all fell in a heap at once I totally laughed out loud.  I don’t for one second believe though that he wouldn’t have hit his father.  That’s ridiculous.

I really like that Sr Bartowski did tell Chuck to trust his handlers.  That was definitely the best thing he could have done for Chuck.

The Buy More didn’t really play in this week.  The parts with Lester and Jeff weren’t even funny.  They were total afterthoughts it felt like.  Contributed absolutely nothing.

I’m sad to see Chuck going to his ex-girlfriend next week but I’m hoping for some fun.  Do you feel bad for Ellie?  First the bachelor party (which I’m still pissed off at the freaking biatch agent that took all those pictures with Awesome when he was passed out) and then her dad walking out again.  Poor girl.  Do you think Chuck’s going to make it to the wedding?

Chuck is on Mondays at 8pm PT on NBC.

Chuck: Chuck Versus the Broken Heart

chk_218_12What a great episode.  I really got into this one and actually cared about what was going to happen.  From the opening scene where Chuck is grabbed and tied up and taken hostage by his three Buy More friends on their dry run for Awesome’s bachelor party to the introduction of Agent Forrest.

I think the funniest scene in Chuck history was Forrest and Casey cleaning their guns.  I totally thought Casey was smitten and hated Sarah but it turns out he held true to Bro’s before Ho’s in this case.  He totally stuck up for Sarah and that really surprised me and made me REALLY happy.  Of course we knew Sarah wouldn’t be gone for long but I was afraid it would be a couple of episodes with her on the outs.  Thank goodness she never really left.

The second funniest scene is the three exotic dancers walking in with fog to the bachelor party.  I love Jeff so much because he is beyond gross and he lived up to my expectations by hiring his sister as one of the dancers because she offered him half off.  OMG.  And I love that Lester scrapbooks.  If those two ever get a girl I will be a little grossed out but very amused.

How bad do you feel for Awesome and Ellie?  My heart is breaking because Awesome didn’t do anything wrong.  I’m totally mad at Forrest for playing her cover too well and taking all of those pictures with him.  Darn her for ruining everything.  I know things will work out for Ellie and Awesome but I can see things being awkward for a while and that makes me sad.  Very sad.  They’re just so awesome I hate to see anything bad happen to them.

I can’t wait to meet Chuck’s dad next week.  The preview looked a little over the top but heck, that can be fun.  Do you think Chuck’s dad will stick around for more than one episode?  Will he be around to walk Ellie down the aisle?

Chuck: Chuck versus the Predator

chk_217_03Well, we all know that Chuck isn’t getting the intersect out of his head because once that happens the show is over but it’s still sad to see him chase his dream and have it literally blow up in front of him.  Great news though that at least he has the schematics to the Folcrum intersect to study.  I’m still not clear how finding another intersect is going to clear his mind, but I’m here for the journey.

Lester and Jeff as spies were so ridiculous.  ”You’re a Buy Moron.”  When they walked back into the Buy More with their eyes all red and watery I totally cracked up.  And the slowed down scenes of the five of them walking out of the Burbank store to hit the  Beverly Hills store was perfect.  Not to mention getting to see Jeff’s office.  He’s gross enough to have an actual office in the bathroom.

I was totally grossed out at the picture of poor Morgan grabbing his blankets while his mom and Bike Mike do it in the next room.  Sick.  And then when Big Mike just pounds on the wall to “wake” Morgan up just made it too real.  They share a wall.  Morgan really needs to move out.  Whatever happened to him moving in with his girlfriend?  I thought he signed his Morganuptual and everything.

Can’t wait for the new girl to come next week.  I’m sure she’ll be a total skank compared to Agent Walker buy maybe she’ll shake things up a bit.  You think Agent Casey’s gonna be into her?

Chuck is on Mondays at 8pm PT on NBC.

Chuck: Chuck versus The Lethal Weapon

nup_133337_0333OK, tell me you guys cracked up when Chuck’s foot got caught in the window.  That was so funny to me I almost wasn’t paying attention to what everyone else was doing.  I remember when I saw the preview last week with the gun that I knew it was going to go horribly wrong but when I saw him flailing on the ground I laughed out loud.

I also thought it was hilarious when Chuck had his cast on and was chasing the guy with the cane.  I mean seriously, a chase scene with two crippled guys?  Too funny.

I’m really happy that Morgan and Anna are moving in together.  When he was trying to sabotage the relationship with his Wii Sports tennis tournament and then the Morgannuptual I just about died.  You’ve gotta love Lester and Jeff and their repulsion business.  When Jeff said, “You’re going to need a quart of peanut oil, some bubble wrap and as much yarn as you can find.”  I was totally intrigued.  What on earth could he possibly be suggesting.

It was a great show until Chuck didn’t want to move in with Sarah.  Darn him.  I thought that was going to kick off their relationship.  They’re awfully lucky that the rest of the show is to freaking funny that I’ll keep watching even if Chuck and Sarah don’t get together.

The show isn’t on for two weeks but when it comes back it looks like Chuck goes commando.  And by that I don’t mean without underwear.  I mean he goes all GI Joe on us.  That should be worth watching for sure.

You pissed off that Chuck and Sarah didn’t get together?

Chuck: Chuck Versus the Beefcake

chk_215_19Is it just me or is Chuck getting more action packed as time goes on.  I’m loving it.

I also love the guy they cast as the beefcake.  Yum.  And of course I love that he’s been captured so that Chuck and Sarah have to move in together.  That should make things really fun especially when beefcake comes back next week.

Do Lester and Jeff have any scruples at all?  I mean any?  I’m glad they don’t.  They make for some hilarious situations like the casting couch where Jeff does a Sharon Stone on unsuspecting models.  And then blaming it all on Chuck is classic.

And Morgon’s mom going at with Big Mike.  ”The man moans like a wounded sea lion.”  Leading up to the fabulous scene where Morgan is stark naked with a bowl of fruit covering his bits and pieces when Ellie and Awesome walk in.  Can you imagine?

Well I can’t wait to see how all of this relationship drama plays out next week.  Any predictions?

Chuck: Chuck versus the Best Friend

picture-35My Tivo didn’t pick up this episode for some reason so I had to watch it here with stupid commercials.  Totally worth it though.  What a great episode.  Now that Pushing Daisies is gone Chuck my is breath of fresh air during the week.

I loved the real agents watching the stalkers in their respective spy vans.  I loved that 80% of Jeff’s interaction with women, as creepy as it is, is without their knowledge.  I am totally in love with Jeffster, not to be confused with Jester which you wouldn’t be able to take seriously.  I love the Buymore groupie with the Jeffster shirt listening to the concert.

I love, love , love that Anna and Morgan are back together.  The world just feels right now.

I love that Chuck has been saving Morgan from himself and others since they met.  And that Chuck loves Morgan as so much more than a best friend.  He is family.

I love that the car blew up and I had completely forgotten about the remote control so I was seriously wondering where Chuck was and how he got out of the car.  And how precious was Sarah’s reaction when she thought Chuck was dead?  I think every day she falls more in love with him and every time that happens she builds her wall higher and thicker so as not to get attached to him.  That wall came straight down when she thought he was dead though.  My heart was breaking for her.

So, who’s going to go download some Jeffster?

Chuck: Chuck versus the Suburbs

chk_213_11-1Now.  We’ve got the Buy More where Mrs. Big Mike has served him divorce papers on Valentine’s Day.  Nice.  She must really hate him.  So he’s taking it out on his employees by making them actually work.  They think if they can just get him loved up he’ll relax again. Not the case.  Not only is he not turning down the thermostat he’s doing it with Morgan’s mom!!  It’ll be great to see what happens next week with this one.

Then we have Chuck and Sarah pretending to be married in fake suburbia.  You had to know when Sarah was cooking up breakfast for Chuck that things were going to go downhill fast.  Seems like they get a step closer together and then 10 steps apart.

I loved that both Agents Walker and Casey were taken unawares by Folcrum.  Thank goodness Chuck has a super brain that can hold all the images that keep getting thrown at him.

I really liked the action in this one.  It was a lot of fun.  How about you?

Chuck versus the Third Dimension

chk_212-3d_07I’m so happy that Chuck is back.  I’ve missed my little Nerd Herder turned spy.  I will admit to having a pair of 3-D glasses on when I watched the show last night but it wasn’t that great.  Maybe my glasses were too cheap (the kids brought them home from school) or maybe the 3-D wasn’t that great.  I don’t know which I just know I was thrilled with every moment of the show.

The scene in the beginning in the Buy More with the grenade was super fabulous.  You got to see all the Buy More characters right off the bat and as you know they’re my favorites so I was tickled by the game of keep away.

Then when Morgan “wins” the golden ticket to Tyler Martin’s benefit concert and sets up a “special triathlon” to see who gets to be his 1 plus I knew we were in for a treat.  Butterman ripping off Lester’s underwear was priceless and the sub eating contest was fantastic.  Jeff eating the urinal cake was gag inducing but it showed how much he wanted it.

I love Tyler Martin and Chuck together.  I was laughing though that no matter how drunk Chuck got he was still all business.

I’m really glad that Chuck got to talk to talk to Sarah about what happened when she shot the Folcrum agent.  It didn’t really seem to resolve his issues but at least its out in the open.

So, do you think Chuck and Sarah will rehash this again and again or do you think Chuck is over it?

Chuck is on Mondays at 8pm PST on NBC.
