I am so sorry that Leonard and Sheldon got robbed but so glad they did.  But I’m getting ahead of myself here.  How can I forget the Mobster sauce.  It can’t have little bits of mobster in it because it was listed under seafood.  And the chicken dish that either the chef lost faith in or he lost faith in himself.  I love Sheldon.

So back to the robbery.  When Sheldon went screaming back into his room I assumed it was for some kind of action figure or other comic memorabilia.  I was almost right.  They didn’t steal his comic books.  Sigh of relief.

Can you believe that alarm system they put in.  Of course we know it going to go horribly awry but it was still funny to see Sheldon twitching on the floor.  ”I am no longer the master of my own bladder.”

Two weeks in a row totally hilarious shows.  I hope they keep up this momentum.  Were you dying when Sheldon told the police to monitor the science journals for the thieves?

OK, I watched this episode twice I thought it was so funny.  The addition of Bernadette to the show is just perfect.  I love that she says what she’s thinking no matter how inappropriate it might be.  When her and Wolowitz were making out in the back seat and she said, “Sliding into third.”  I just about peed my pants.  What makes it even funnier is that Leonard actually turned around to see.  He did catch himself though and had a disgusted look on his face when he faced forward again.

I don’t know what to think about Penny and Leonard.  If Leonard was willing to go to the psychic Penny should have been willing to read the book.  That didn’t seem very fair to me but whatever I’m just glad they worked things out.

Then Raj and Sheldon.  Oh my gosh.  This the funniest I’ve seen these two.  How bad did you feel for Raj though that he had to keep giving Sheldon such valuable things just for Sheldon to play along.  ”Hulk is sad.”  I loved seeing Raj finally get a girl but the best part of the whole show was when Sheldon left that girl in his bedroom and went with his Green Lantern Lantern to sleep in Leonard’s room.  Can you imagine what she was thinking?

Awesome episode to kick off with.  I may very well watch it again.  Were you as tickled as I am?

Well leave it to Sheldon to think of teaching Penny as training a gorilla to do sign language.  Only the gorilla could learn way more than Penny possibly could.  ”It’s a warm summer evening…”

I thought for sure Wolowitz had lost Bernadette when he tried to get Leonard to uninvite her to his experiment.  And for that matter when his mom came home and they were making out on the bed.  Why would you want to get involved with that?  But she seemed to roll with the punches.  ”Tooshie face.”  I’m just happy Bernadette will be around for another week.  She’s super cute.

I loved the beginning sequence with the food and Sheldon freaking out about every little thing.  It’s so funny to watch him get riled up.  I mean who doesn’t like eating family style?

Still a super funny show.  Are you enjoying the addition of Bernadette?

Oh the humanity!  We got a little too personal with Wolowitz last night.  The scene with Cara from Battlestar Gallactica (love that show and love Cara) was hilarious and revolting at the same time.  Especially with Howard’s mother screaming at him from the background.  Oh gross.  Major bad shivers.  I mean really, he’s got a girl that wants to actually spend some time with him and he’s just going to blow her off?

Which brings us to the proposal.  What was he thinking?  Who proposes to someone after 3 dates?  Well, I can actually think of a couple but I mean normally, who does that?  But, to save the whole show Howard comes up with an apology song.  Amazing.  I forget there’s a talented actor underneath the Howard facade.  Awesome.  It might be nice to see Howard with a girlfriend and maybe, possibly not so creepy.

Sheldon.  Sheldon, Sheldon, Sheldon.  What kind of trouble has he gotten himself into?  And to bring Raj and Leondard down with him.  Oh man.  Can you imagine all the thousands of dollars of equipment he ruined with that stunt.  And then to leave a video message at the end.  Classic.

I can’t wait to get to know this new girl.  Hopefully Howard can make it last for more than one episode.  Do you think he can?

The munchies.  I’ve never seen anyone so ravenous before.  I’ve seen people eat some pretty crazy things but never rummage around like animals.  Made for good TV though.  For sure my favorite part was when they had their shirts tied around their heads eating brisquit and carrots and potatoes.  Mrs. Wolowitz saves the day.  The sad thing is they didn’t even go back and hook up with the teachers.

I can’t get enough of Penny and Sheldon.  That man amazes me with his lack of sexuality.  He should have been a very impersonal and horrible doctor.  ”That’s not my elbow.”  ”It doesn’t feel like an elbow.”  So my only question is do they tell Leonard?

And I cannot believe how well Sheldon drove.  I remember the simulated driving and he ended up on the second floor of a mall.  Granted it looked like he was driving 5mph but still that’s good for what he was doing before.

Then the Soft Kitty duet/round was too much.  I think Sheldon actually enjoyed it too.  I think if my kids were younger I’d start singing it to them and see if we could start a tradition.

I will say, I’d love to go camping with cable.  I’d probably go more often.  How about you?

Kite fighting.  What will they come up with next?  I loved the sequence when they were are the park and each team totally had a strategy how to win.  I honestly didn’t know there was such a thing as kite fighting until last night.  Thank you Big Bang Theory for once again showing me the light.

How about that Howard.  Bros before hos man.  But he never gets that does he? And Koothropali is right.  He has no chance with any of those girls.  That last scene with them on the bench enjoying time together when Howard wants to go after yet another girl was hilarious.  How many times have you been furious with someone but you pretend that everything is fine and you totally tell them not to worry about but inside you’re fuming.  Poor Raj.  He will always play second fiddle.

I love that Leonard tried to like football for Penny but I like even more that he ended up hating it.  And of course Sheldon knows all about football.  He is from Texas.  We don’t hear much about Sheldon’s dad.  It’s always his mom we interact with.  Is there a story line with his dad not being around or dying or still around but too busy to be around that I missed?

I am ecstatic that Penny and Leonard are still going strong despite their differences.

Poor Raj having to work so closely with Sheldon now.  I was rolling with the “Eye of the Tiger” montage.  It’s so funny to think there are actually people who sit around and think for a living.  Maybe not as much as these guys do but a heck of a lot more than I do in any given day.

A pirate!  Sheldon is ridiculous.  Could you imagine Raj as a pirate?

I loved the scenes with Raj and Sheldon who haven’t showered.  Sheldon looked down right crazy.

And when Raj got drunk in his job interview and asked the girl if she’d like to come in his hot tub I was horrified for him but laughing my butt off.

And when Raj asked Howard if he could speak when Penny was listening outside the door.  Too much.

I love seeing Penny and Leonard together.  They’re so cute.  I hope it lasts for a while this time.  I just hope Howard doesn’t keep cramping their style.  Nice of him to make them eggs and salami though.

The whole show I just kept picturing Raj’s parents scolding him for getting deported.  What a sad life that would have been.

I keep thinking of more moments from last nights show that cracked me up.  What was your favorite?

I had no idea when I read the title of the show what Gothowitz meant.  I honestly thought it was the name of some scientist I’d never heard of.  Then in turned out to be Howard going Goth.  And he looked good too.  I prefer it to his normal hideous garb.  I’m just sad Raj didn’t put a little more effort into it.

And Sheldon training Penny with chocolates was hilarious.  ”Want a chocolate?”  But when he sprayed Leonard in the face with the squirt bottle I just about died.  Then Sheldon got Penny to talk in a lower octave and I could see Leonard was a tiny bit intrigued.

Apparently Leonard and Penny have gotten over the awkwardness of sleeping together if they broke Penny’s bed.  I’m glad.  I’d like to see them together at least for a little bit.  How about you?

Oh, I am so curious about the night the heat went out.  I love that Koothrappali found it a bonding experience.  He is so funny.

And what do you think about everyone lying to Sheldon about his experiments?  I can’t even imagine what it would be like to be trapped in a cabin with Sheldon for 3 months so I just have to assume they did what they had to do.  I cannot believe how much trouble they got Sheldon into though.  I don’t think I ever have before but I actually felt sorry for him.  What a crappy place to be on top of the world one minute and pond scum the next.

And Leonard and Penny are at it again.  I just didn’t expect it to downhill so fast.  Does this mean they’re not going to try to date?  Or are things too weird?  What do you guys think?

Well we new Wolowitz and Leslie weren’t going to last.  I mean friends with benefits usually relies upon you being friends.  I guess it shouldn’t be surprising that Wolowitz was so broken up about the breakup.  We’ve seen in the past that he has a delusional view on his relationships with women.

I loved when the hooker started talking to Koothrapali because we get to see him turn on the charm.  Liquored up of course.  If he would just keep a flask with him all the time he’d be a chick magnet.

I thought for sure Wolowitz was going to be upset when he realized he was set up with a hooker but he totally ran with it.  Shows how little I know him.  I thought his heart would be double broken when he realized the only way he could be with a woman was to pay her.  Silly me.

Sheldon and Penny were hilarious together.  Sheldon is literally just a really smart kid.  He has no social skills whatsoever.  I cannot believe that Penny gives into his every whim though.  Spoiling him by singing Soft Kitty and such.

I am so happy for this new episode.  It’s been a long time, hasn’t it?

The work song nanocluster!  Their titles are so clever and absolutely hilarious.  

I can still picture Penny and Sheldon singing sea shanty’s while making Penny Blossoms.  And the look on the guys faces when they walked in and found them was priceless.  Than came all the business about setting up servers and networks.  I look over and Scott’s like, “I understand every word of it.”  What a geek!  But he’s my geek.

And I love that Leonard set up an e-commerce site that looked like a 13 year olds Facebook page.  ”Dateline could use it to attract predators.”

“How are flower barrettes going to appeal to men?”, the baffled Penny asks.  Blue tooth of course.  Balding men around the world will be clamoring for Penny Blossoms.  I can see it now.

Don’t even get me started on Sheldon on coffee.  He should have stuck to his promise to his mom not to use drugs.  I love that the gang just have full grown superhero costumes lying around that they change into at any moment.

And of course I have to mention Secret Agent Laser Obstacle Chess and Lunch.  Of course it’s ridunculous that’s what makes it great.

All in all, a great episode.  Sorry to see Penny’s home business peter out but we all know that’s usually what happens, don’t we girls?

I can’t believe it actually happened.  Summer Glau who plays a “good” Terminator on Terminator:  The Sarah Connor Chronicles showed up on The Big Bang Theory.   Two of my favorite shows, come together.

I was really interested in how Sheldon would react to her because in a past episode he pointed out how ridiculous it would be for robots who are trying to take over the earth to build such a frail Terminator.  Compared to Arnold (We’re on a first name basis.  He is my governator after all.), Summer is very small but I have no doubt in my mind that Summer’s character, Cameron, would kick Arnolds big ol’ booty.  Back on topic though, Sheldon could have cared less that she was on the train.  I loved that.

I also love that Summer broke Wolowitz’s phone after he tried to take a make out picture with her.

It’s so cute when Kuthrappali gets drunk and starts talking to girls.  He’s actually very confident and sweet.  I was so mad at Wolowitz for stealing his thunder with the exposure of the near beer (The non-alcoholic beer.  That’s what they used to call it when I was a kid.  I have no idea what’s it’s called now.)

The best moment though was when Sheldon finally got to the conference in SF and the Professor didn’t want anything to do with him.  At last, someone to put him in his place.

So Wolowitz still has Leslie but do you think anyone else will hook up?  I can’t see Sheldon ever being with a woman, how about you?

I am so in love with this show.  And as much as I hate to admit it I totally love Sheldon.  He’s wackadoodle.

You’ve gotta love Wolowitz and Leslie hooking up.  It’s a win win situation.  She gets sex whenever she wants it and he gets to be her boy toy.  I loved when his mom was yelling at him to unzip her dress and Leslie yells, “He’s got company” in that old lady voice/accent.  Hilarious.

The cushion was over the top.  When Sheldon was moaning every time he sat somewhere new and had that baby face on I was totally cracking up.  He’s like 4 year old.

Then when Sheldon took out Penny at the paint gun bunker I lost it.  He didn’t care about the game or his team at all.  He just wanted to get back at Penny no matter what the cost.

So, are you good with Wolowitz and Leslie?  Think it’s going to last?

I had to look up what capacitance means and according to wikipedia is means:  the ability of a body to hold an electrical charge.  Makes sense now doesn’t it?  His mom is shocking Leonard.  Not just “Oh my gosh, I can’t believe she said that.”, but “Ouch, that hurts.”  Or at least that’s how this non genius takes it.  I really love the titles of this show.  Just wish I understood some of them better without having to look them up.

Leonard’s mom is not that big of a shock.  I think it’s more normal for a really smart guy to come from really smart parents.  Sheldon’s family on the other hand is the phenomenon.  He’s definitely the strange one in that bunch.

I love that they are playing Rock Band at the beginning of this show with no inhibitions.  We just got Guitar Hero World Tour for our Wii and we love it.  Now, the kids have broken it twice, thank goodness I bought the warranty for it, but we have so much fun rocking out.  At the end of each completed song it says in real big letters, “YOU ROCK” and my kids always yell that to each other when it comes on the screen.

Anyway, this is not a World Tour review so back to the show.  I was sorry to hear that Leonard is the underachiever in his family.  It made me sad when he told his mom what he was working on and she said, “What, nothing original?”  Youch.

It was hilarious the connection that Leonard’s mom and Sheldon had.  How they culminated their efforts to perform Anyway you want it.

And oh, poor Leonard.  Couldn’t keep his mouth shut with Penny.  He had the whole world of Penny opened up before him and he ruined it by saying Penny just wanted to sleep with her dad.  Bad move.  Extremely bad move.  Oh well, guess we’ll just have to keep waiting for something to happen there.

I’m wondering… who’s your favorite geek?

Sheldon’s willingness to lend money to Penny really surprised me.  It was a genuinely nice thing to do.  He didn’t ask for interest or set an aggressive payback date or anything.  That just doesn’t seem like him at all.

I love the way Penny became paranoid about the money she took.  Misconstruing totally harmless looks into glares and accusations.

Poor Leonard.  He does something nice and it backfires on him.  That was a major thing he did talking to Penny’s ex about the money he owed her.  It even cost him an IOU on the forehead for Pete’s sake.

I’m curious to see how things go with Penny and the ex.  If it will end up after one date in a huge fight or if he’ll be around for a while.  Guess I’ll just have to wait and see.
