**SPOILER ALERT**  We talk in depth about all of our shows so be warned.

The Biggest Loser 8: Finale

Picture 3This is another one of those shows that I didn’t really care who won as long as it wasn’t a certain person.  That person is Rudy.  He just really rubbed me the wrong way.  So Amanda or Danny, it didn’t matter to me.  But we’ll get to that in a little bit.

Let’s talk about the at home winner for a sec.  Wow.  Rebecca looked awesome.  Except for her hair.  Why did she choose that ugly blonde instead of platinum?  Big mistake as far as I’m concerned but she looked amazing.  I’m so glad she won.

Then we have a proposal.  I didn’t even know they were dating but I guess it’s pretty serious if they’re getting married.  I loved her reaction.  She was so happy and surprised and I just loved watching it.

Then Shay gets $1000 for every pound she loses.  If that’s not motivation I don’t know what is.  I bet her husband kicks her out of bed in the morning from now on so she can get a workout before work.  She has the possibility of winning a freaking ton of money and getting healthy to boot.  Incredible.

OK, now for the big winner.  Danny looked like a different person altogether.  Can you believe how young he looked.  The finale is always so rewarding as a viewer because last week everyone was still pretty heavy.

So, did the best man win?

Well we don’t have long to wait for the next season.  It airs January 5th at 8pm on NBC.

The Biggest Loser 8: Week 12

Picture 2I was pretty bored with the first little bit of the show but was really touched when Bob and Jillian went and visited everyone at home.  I really felt for the contestants and their struggles.  I guess it never impacted me before how difficult it would be to go from The Ranch and try to fit back in at home when they’ve been plugging along and probably struggling without you.  Not to mention changing their eating and work out habits.  Man, I really got it this time around.

Can you believe Danny’s and Rudy’s at home weight loss?  After the girls got up I wasn’t expecting much but Danny blew me away.  I know they still have a ways to go until the finale but I think Danny’s got it.

So did you vote?  If I had voted I would have voted for Amanda.  Just because she got voted on to the show and it would be great to see her finish all the way to the end.  Plus I think I like her better.  She’s a little whiny for me but in general I like her.

So, who’s going to be the biggest loser?

Sorry I didn’t mention last week that last night’s show was on at 9pm.  I didn’t know but next weeks finale is on at 8pm on NBC.

The Biggest Loser 8: Week 11

Picture 2What is Suze Orman doing on a weight loss show?  I don’t know but I skipped her anyways so it doesn’t matter to me.  And yes the challenge with Suze was more difficult because they were on the treadmills but that was so boring.  They hyped it to be exciting and challenging and it wasn’t.

The whole show was boring to me.  Granted I thought it was kind of nice to reminisce and see how much more weight they can throw around now than when they began but I guess I just don’t care about this group of people enough to really care. I think that’s it.  I’m not connected to any of them at all.

The only one I was a little attached to was Allen and he’s gone now.  I guess I’m left routing for Amanda now though she’s never been high on my list.  Who are you routing for?

The Biggest Loser is on Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.

The Biggest Loser 8: Week 10

Picture 6Well, I was totally underwhelmed with all of the makeovers.  There wasn’t a single of one them that took my breath away.  I’m not saying that they didn’t look nice but I was expecting more.  Maybe I’m thinking too much America’s Next Top Model makeover and not enough Biggest Loser makeover.

I’m not going to mention anything about their speeches because I fast forwarded through them.  I guess I felt I already knew their stories and it sounded boring so I skipped it.

I was interested to find out that Allen has been holding back on all of the challenges so he doesn’t get a target on his back.  Smart move  but I want to see somebody kick Rudy’s trash around a little bit.  Rudy is really getting on my nerves.  I guess because Shay went home last week and he was so ridiculous to Rebecca this week.  I’m done with him and his arrogance.  He needs to go home.

What a moving ending to watch Rebecca run the half marathon and cry at the end when she knows she’s going to accomplish her goals.  She looks great and I can’t wait to see her at the finale.

Does anyone else want Allen to step up and kick Rudy’s trash?

The Biggest Loser is on Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.  (Not sure why last night was on at 8:30pm but the website says 8pm for next week.)
