The Biggest Loser: Week 11
Phew, that was a close one but we’ll get to that later. What did you think about the beginning of the show when everyone had to pick their trainer? I thought that was a really difficult thing to make the contestants do but seeing as how there was already anarchy going on why not just let everyone have their pick? Mike flipping a coin though was a little ridiculous. I know it would suck to hurt someone’s feelings but that’s a big decision to be left up to chance. I love how his father said he was stupid but that all 18 year olds are stupid. Well said.
I haven’t said it for a few weeks but you guys probably remember that I do not like Tara. I still haven’t been able to pin point exactly what it is that bothers me but she does. If she keeps winning immunity she’s taking the game. At this point she’s got it in the bag she’s just got to keep on going. I will say I think she did a great job pulling herself back from wanting to quit. That must feel hard to be ganged up on all the time but she kicked it into high gear and did awesome. I am glad that she didn’t lose her 4 pounds though. Kristin deserved that title and I’m glad she got it.
Thank goodness Felipe is such a nice guy and everyone wants to keep him around. I don’t think he has the drive to win the game but I would have been heartbroken to see him go home last night. Amy sent me another link to a girl who I think goes to church with Felipe. It has a current photo of him and some updates of what is going on with him.
I don’t feel bad about Aubrey leaving. I really had no connection with her so she was just an extra person on campus for me. I do hope that things come together for her and she’s able to lose the weight she wants to. I only have three kids and I understand how hard it is to make time to workout. Make time to blog, no problem. Workout, yikes!
Maybe I’m just a cold hearted biatch but it makes me mad when Ron gets help with his challenges. Let the guy finish by himself. He chose to be on campus. He knew what it would entail so let him man up and do it. That’s probably really harsh to say considering from the preview that he’s ending up in the hospital next week but I don’t take it back. If you can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen. What do you think? Am I being irrational here?
The Biggest Loser is on Tuesdays at 8pm PT on NBC.

I can’t believe I’m admitting that I can be such a pansy but I almost started crying when Felipe and his wife crossed the finish line of their half marathon together. I cannot believe she actually ran that with him. I loved when she was spanking him while he was running. They were my favorite pair to watch. I know that unless Sione, heaven forbid, and Tara get voted off Felipe has no chance of winning this competition but he’s still my favorite.
Holy drama, Batman! I’m so glad that nobody got sent home from last weeks show but yikes! Pitting the teams one on one against is other is harsh. Tara did a super fantastic job though pairing everybody up. I thought it was strange that she wanted to sit out until she said that she wouldn’t lose the head to head that way. Smart thinking.
OK, so I was pretty upset with The Biggest Loser’s blue team last week but now I’m mad at the producers. How can they make this a to be continued show? So much is at stake here!
OK, great reward for the challenge but for me, I didn’t need for this to be an hour long show. Great weigh in though. Everyone did really well. Some better than others of course but there were no major disappointments.
I know I said this last season when they did this exact same split but I hate it when they put shows on different nights than usual. (Hem, hem, American Idol.) If you haven’t figured it out already I have an extensive viewing schedule and it messes everything up. In my head at least. That being said, what is Wednesday nights show even going to be about? They’ve already done their challenge, right? So it’s just the last chance workout and the weigh in. There better be some additional twist or this is going to be boring.
Wow! This season couldn’t be more different than last season if it tried. Everyone is so friendly and nice and really seem to care about each other. Well, now that Joelle is gone at least.
What an emotional week. At the very beginning of the show the did a “Pop Challenge,” like a pop quiz. Just pulled them out of the house and out by the pool where they had to stand on a block on one foot. Whoever stayed on the longest won 24 hours with a loved one on the ranch. It got down to four people and all of a sudden Mandi starts asking people to step off their block and give her the reward. They did and she won.
Woah. What an incredible week. First with the weigh in of the contestants that were at home. Go Sione. Twentyfive pounds! He wanted it bad. It’s not really that big of a shock though because they always showed clips of him working out so they kind of set it up for us.
First I want to say that it was a little harsh for Jillian’s team to ask Bob’s team who they wanted voted off and then blindside them. It did put Bob’s team in an awkward position with Joelle. That being said. It is a game and Jillian’s team did what they thought they needed to do strategy wise. So I can see both sides to this.
